This event is a COVID SAFE event. All current covid restrictions will be adherred to. Please do not attend if:

1. you have visitied a hot spot in the 14 days leading up to the show

Conditions of entry:

Entries, Stall Bookings and Camping to be made at www.globalentriesonline.com.au

Early Entries for Showjumping open Friday 29th January at 7.00 am

Entries for Showjumping open Tuesday 2nd February 2021 at 7.00 pm.

Entries for all events close Tuesday, 16th February 2020 at 9pm

Late entries will incur an extra $5 fee per event.

Refunds: In the case of scratching before the close of entries; 10% of the entry fees will be kept by the show to pay for Processing fees and the remaining will be returned to the competitor.

If scratching after the close of entries; A vet certificate must be presented to receive a refund and 10% of the entry fees will be kept by the show to pay for Processing fees and the remaining will be returned to the competitor.

 Junior Definition: From the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 12 until the end of the calendar year in which they turn 18. 

Classes may be altered/deleted or added by the committee for the benefit of the riders present.

Amateur Rider Definition: Is a rider 21 years and over who has never competed in an Olympic Games/WEG or World Cup for Jumping Riders. Must not have competed in the Jumping events at Royal Shows or 4* 3 day events in the past two years. 

Only 2 starts per horse per day in both rings 1 and 2

Horses and Riders can only enter the A or B or C section in any class.

Course Walk at 7:30 AM each morning with a 8:00 AM first horse on Course.

Keep Dogs on a leash at all times. No dogs allowed in any competition area or warm up area during the show.

This is an Agricultural Show so there will be other events held on the main arena on the Friday and Saturday. Although at this stage it will be only showjumping on the Sunday

The Gate Marshals are all volunteers. Please Respect this and be courteous at all times, they are trying as hard as possible to keep the show moving!!

Gundagai Show Society is pleased to offer TSHA classes which will be sponsored by the TSHA association of NSW.

To be eligible for TSHA classes your thoroughbred must be registered with the Australian Thoroughbred Stud Book.  No part bred thoroughbreds will be eligible.

To compete in the thoroughbred only classes you must purchase a competition licence with the TSHA through Global Entries Online.   The licence costs $ 55 and runs for a calendar year from the date you purchased it.  

 

How do I obtain my licence?

  • The licence can be obtained by logging into www.globalentriesonline.com.au   
  • Go to the ‘Manage Horses” page
  • Click on the “TSHA licence” button and fill in the details
  • If you don’t already have an account with Global Entries it is simple to create one and then follow the instructions above.

 

You must provide a microchip number.  If this is not possible please provide your horse’s race name and/or their breeding (dam and sire).  If you are having trouble finding the information please send us an email and we can help you  info@thoroughbredsporthorse.com.au.   Licence inquiries Nicole Poetsch 0418 683-802 and for general inquiries Krissy Harris 0459 168-782.

The licence fee is for competition purposes only and is not proof of ownership. 

Any prize money will be paid to the winning rider.  Connections of the horse must organise the prize money split, if any, between themselves.

Any horses and riders competing in the TSHA Thoroughbred classes 1.05m and over must also hold EA registration.
