2015 SRSJC INFORMATION & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY*

ENTRIES CLOSE ON Tuesday, 19 May at 11pm. NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.
FEES & LEVIES: $12 Helpers Fee (non-refundable), $12 First Aid Levy & $13 Brookleigh Ground Fee. $10 Day Membership for non-EWA, PCAWA Members.
DRAW ORDER: Riders must compete in the order of the draw, unless otherwise arranged with the judge or SRSJC official. Riders who are not ready to compete at the entry gate for a class once their name is called risk elimination from that class.
CLASSES: The same horse can only compete in one class at each height level; i.e., horses in Class 3A can't enter 3B , etc, and per class restrictions on the programme.

ELIGIBILITY: Only current EWA & PCAWA members (those with EWA membership or SRSJC Day Membership) can ride at SRSJC shows.
HORSELAND YOUNG SHOWJUMPING HORSE CLASSES: For horses which are 4, 5, 6, or 7 years old before 01/08/2015. To be eligible, competitors must complete a Young Horse Profile and submit this to Suzanne (email@example.com) no later than Sunday, 14 June. Profile Forms can be downloaded on Global Entries or at www.swanriversjc.com.au.
EQUESTRIAN AUSTRALIA TALENT ID QUALIFIERS for horses 6, 7 and 8 years of age before 01/08/2015. Two qualifiers will be held in each state at prescribed heights for each age group. The top 6 combinations from each state with less than a total of 8 penalties in the first round of competition will qualify for the Finals at the Shepparton World Cup show in November 2015. The top placed combinations within each age group at the Finals will be included in the 2016 Futures Squad. In addition, up to six wildcard 7, 8 or 9 year old horses (ages as of 01/08/2015) may be accepted on the Futures Squad as long as they have participated in at least one qualifying event in Australia in 2015.
PCAWA COMPETITORS - SRSJC DAY MEMBERSHIP: $10 per day SRSJC Membership enables PCAWA members who are not EWA members to compete at our shows. A new DAY MEMBERSHIP application and payment must be submitted for each event. PCAWA competitors at SRSJC events compete under EWA rules. Day members are ineligible for SRSJC Club Member benefits. Day Membership is to be made online at the time of entry and an application form submitted to the organisers prior to competition.
COMPETITION ATTIRE: Proper attire including jackets, shirts with bottoned collars, stocks or ratcatchers and white or beige jodhpurs/breeches. When riders are allowed to ride without jackets, their shirts must have short or long sleeves.
COURSE WALKS: Competitors in classes with multiple A, B, C sections will walk the course for together before the start of A, unless announced otherwise..
PRESENTATIONS: All SRSJC presentations are MOUNTED.... To receive ribbons and prizes, riders MUST appear for MOUNTED presentations & be in competition attire. Presentations for classes with multiple A, B, C sections will be made at the conclusion of the last section.
STALLIONS: should be securely yarded and display green discs on both sides of saddlecloths or bridles, as per EA jumping rules. When tied at trucks, they should be supervised at all times.
PROGRAMME: The organizers reserve the right to change the classes and/or programme without prior notice.
HC ROUNDS: Hors Concours rounds are non-competive and offered at the discretion of the organisers (not necessarily available at all events). Once a horse competes HC, it will be unable to compete for placings and/or prizes for the remainder of the day on which it competed HC.
PERFORMANCE CARDS: Unless otherwise notified, performance cards must be presented to collect prize money in official classes that carry points.
PATERSONS PLATE: A minimum of 25% of horses from Round 1 will participate in Round 2. Penalties in Round 1 will be carried into and determine the draw order in Round 2 (reverse penalties). Horses participating in a jump off round will be placed on penalties and time in that round; all others will be placed on aggregate penalties over both rounds and time from Round 1.
AMATEUR RIDERS: Riders 21 years and over who have never competed in an Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games in jumping or eventing, a 4 Star Three-Day event or a World Cup event for jumping. They must not have competed in Section 1 or 2 classes at a Royal Show in Australia in the past two years. Any rider or horse competing in classes starting at 1.20m or higher at the same show cannot enter an 'Amateur' class. Riders may compete as an amateur from the year they turn 21. Riders must be EWA members and the horse/s officially registered.
RUBBISH: All manure, hay and rubbish must be cleaned up around floats, trucks and yards before leaving Brookleigh's grounds. It is not the responsibility of the event organisers or Brookleigh to clean up what's left behind by individual participants. Manure bins located along the fenceline of the public float/truck parking paddock can be shifted closer to your vehicles for convenience.
SRSJC MEMBER DISCOUNT: SRSJC members receive a $5 per class discount on entries; New membership is available only online at www.globalentriesonline.com.au. Re-joining members must renew via the link that was sent in an email to all previous members or contact Suzanne, firstname.lastname@example.org.
REFUND POLICY: Only organisers (not Global Entries) can issue refunds. To receive a refund (less a $5 administration fee andnon-refundable Helper Fee), please notify Suzanne or Gail at email@example.com before the close of entries; Scratchings due to injury or illness require a vet/doctor certificate received by SRSJC within 3 days after the competition - or the refund will be limited to class fees only. Entry changes during a show can be made at the discretion of the organiser and adjusted for the cost of the new class. All other scratchings are non-refundable.
NO HAY is allowed in the yards surrounding the indoor arena.
