Hay Park is a lush grass oval providing an excellent surface to ride on with plenty of space and parking
Conditions of Entry
Eligibility for Official and Participant classes: To participate in the EA Competitor classes on the day, you must be an EA Competitor member and horses must hold a full registration. Participant riders must be minimum EA Participant Members. Unofficial classes are open to any rider.
Maximum 3 tests/per horse on the day and only two consecutive levels.
Draw – Amendments to the final draw may be made no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the event. Organisers will attempt to notify competitors if the change of draw affects them but it is up to the competitors to check the draw at least 24hrs prior to the event.
Start Times – every attempt will be made for riders to ride on their scheduled time, but it is the rider’s responsibility via the gear checker/marshall to be aware if an arena is running ahead. You may be asked to ride up to 15 minutes earlier than the draw time if this is the case. Please be prepared, warmed in to at least ride in your class on time.
Refunds and Scratchings: Entry fees will not be refunded for this event after the closing date of entries unless a medical certificate or veterinary certificate is produced within 5 days of completion of the event. Riders may change prior to the event, but on the day, the rider cannot change if the horse has already been ridden in the warm up or in the competition. If the rider is changing prior to being ridden, please notify the organising committee. Horses cannot be changed and the draw order cannot be changed without permission of the organisers as well.
Venue: the sporting oval for this event is of very high quality and it is important that you respect this and clean up any mess that your horse has made. Please clean up your poo and hay and empty in the bins provided. Please bring a rake and scoop for this purpose.
Catering: Food outlets will be available on the grounds on the day
Respect the Volunteers: This event is run by volunteers who are essential to ensure that events like these continue. Please be respectful to all as this makes for a pleasant experience for both competitors and officials/volunteers alike. Event organisers, are available and happy to assist with any queries on the day.
